The tallest waterfall in the country out of a listed number of 430 different water falls in the island. The height in meters is 263 (equal to 863 feet).  Starting from the resort to Haputhale railway station by vehicle, and there after by train to Idalgashinna station. When you disembark walking through tea plantations, paddy fields. Spice gardens, in an environment that is void of populations, enjoy the bird life and spot the many speckles.  For lunch you would be served traditional food by village folk and taste their hospitality in simple and pure style at a village home.  Day trek back down to Colombo/ Badulla road and to the resort .
